District Vision was founded in Los Angeles in 2016 by Tom Daly and Max Vallot. The Koharu Eclipse Black D+ Onyx Mirror is engineered for running, trail running, cycling, and high-output outdoor pursuits. The Koharu silhouette emphasizes lightweight performance and streamlined coverage, providing a secure fit and expansive field of vision during movement.
The frame is constructed from high-performance Japanese nylon, offering an ideal balance of durability, flexibility, and lightweight comfort. Its ergonomic geometry promotes airflow and reduces pressure during extended wear. Adjustable hypoallergenic rubber nose pads and titanium-core temples allow for a customized and secure fit.
This model features the D+ Onyx Mirror Lens, developed for environments requiring maximum sun protection. The mirrored coating enhances infrared screening while minimizing glare and harsh sunlight exposure, making it ideal for alpine environments, coastal activities, and prolonged outdoor use.
District Vision's proprietary D+ Therapeutic Grade Lens Technology utilizes a shatterproof polycarbonate compound. Interior anti-reflective coatings and exterior oleophobic coatings improve visibility while repelling water and oil for long-lasting optical performance.
Each frame is handcrafted in Japan, combining advanced engineering with traditional Japanese eyewear craftsmanship.
