District Vision was founded in Los Angeles in 2016 by Tom Daly and Max Vallot. The Takeyoshi Altitude Master Gray D+ Water Gray is engineered for demanding outdoor pursuits including trail running, alpine adventures, hiking, cycling, and extended time in exposed environments. Featuring an 8-base wraparound frame design, it delivers enhanced protection, peripheral coverage, and visual performance in challenging conditions.
Its ergonomic frame geometry is designed to improve airflow while expanding the field of vision. Helmet-compatible temples make the frame suitable for cycling, mountaineering, and technical outdoor activities where all-day comfort and stability are essential.
Adjustable nose pads and temple tips are reinforced with a Grade 2 titanium core, allowing for a secure and customized fit tailored to individual face shapes and activity levels.
This model is equipped with the D+ Water Gray Polarized Lens, developed specifically for activities around water and highly reflective environments. The polarized lens reduces glare from water surfaces, snow, and reflective terrain while maintaining natural color perception and visual clarity. The lens provides 100% UVA and UVB protection and allows 10.76% visible light transmission.
District Vision's proprietary D+ Therapeutic Grade Lens Technology utilizes a shatterproof polycarbonate compound. Interior anti-reflective coatings and exterior oleophobic coatings improve visibility while repelling moisture, oil, and debris for consistent optical performance.
Each frame is handcrafted in Japan, combining advanced engineering with traditional Japanese eyewear craftsmanship.
