Rayon Vert Since 2017, Rayon Vert has been inspired by long-distance hiking and the ultralight movement, evolving from a group of curious hikers into a research-driven clothing brand.

Dissatisfied with existing gear, we began sewing our own backpacks, eventually sharing them with the world.

We stand for minimal environmental impact, promoting self-production and repair over mass production.

Our goal is to empower individuals to create, maintain, and extend their own gear—fostering awareness, sustainability, and a more conscious production cycle.

｜Product Description｜

Wormholes Sunglasses – Vulcanic Black

Created in collaboration between Rayon Vert and Abicsi, Wormholes were designed as independent eyewear for mountain environments, challenging the dominance of mainstream industry players.

The frames are made from laser-fused nylon powder through Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). After sintering, they are pressure-dyed for maximum color fastness, and each pair is hand-finished individually.

The lenses, crafted by Zeiss from CR-39 resin, deliver optical clarity comparable to glass at roughly half the weight.

Hidden within the arms, WORMHOLE TECHNOLOGY allows seamless drawstring integration for a secure fit when needed most.

The frames are extremely flexible and lightweight — weighing only 22.8g (or 24g including the lanyard).

Each pair includes a Velcro pouch handmade and printed at Abicsi Studio in Toronto, Canada, and comes in a recycled cardboard box, hand screen-printed using solar-powered water-based ink.
